Eh? It was an old BA route, was at some point franchised out to BMED and therefore inherited by bmi.
Most likely explanation for this is that customers prefer the more frequent, reliable and comfortable service provided by competitors.
The problem with all this Africa trimming is that, as someone else noted above, there comes a 'tipping point' when regulars who are forced to switch to KL or SN take ALL their business over to the other carrier.
