Every other time I have ever been to the US, I have just been stamped in for the standard 90 days. This time, she specifically wrote in 2nd August (so 2 weeks to the day from when I arrived) - which isn't a problem as I'll be gone by then, but isn't what they normally do.

Anybody else experienced this recently? Are they starting to clamp down on giving people the standard 90 days? Or do we think she just took a dislike to me?!
I landed at PHL Sunday, had more questions than usual including a few on length of stay but passport stamped for 3 months. My previous 90 day vis waiver had only just expired, so curious what would have happened there.
