Despite my last marginal stay, thought I'd stay here again. A substantially better experience with appreciated Platinum recognition:
- Upon request (wouldn't have happened otherwise) upgraded from King Deluxe to Junior Suite, which is essentially two rooms joined together (incl. 2 bathrooms).
- Welcome drink of white or red port (I chose white). Ordered a second glass because it was so good and they said it was on the house.
- Nice welcome gift of a plate of sweets
- Turn-down service with a replenishment of bottled water, espresso capsules, and the standard service (blinds closed, chocolate on nightstand, etc.).
- The front desk staff were almost too nice but not superficially so.

Despite a 1-hour power outage (a 30-min outage was posted at the front desk and elevators) and aging/worn furniture, I've really enjoyed my short stay would would certainly return.
