What other browsers is it supported in?

If none then there's a decent chance that Netflix has two copies of the content on its servers, one for the Chrome/HTML5 playback and one for the other playback. That's great when you're on the ground and have easy access to more storage capacity. It is not so useful when you're on a plane and total storage capacity is limited. Choosing to allow plug-in free playback for some users while halving the number of titles is a good way to mostly disappoint passengers.
