so i'll give mine now that this thread has been going a bit.
I understand its the companies goal to make money-- i get that. But if they turned around and re-invested $200m into their product (and didn't raise the price) they would continue to make the same amount of money-- possibly more if they could sell more seats (i fly EWR-HKG a bunch and the business class section is usually half empty) which brings in MORE money against an investment of profits (not a debt offering that has to be paid back).
