I agree with you about the heightswine. EL AL USED to serve Grand Vin, but it was 'enhanced' away years ago ... however you must reckon with the fact that non-kosher wines are relatively cheaper than kosher ones for a given level of quality. EL AL only have one wine at a time which is different for First. For years now that has been pretty pathetic - in the 60-70 sheqels range maximum. Probably equivalent to a non-kosher wine costing about GBP 7.50 in London. That price level gets you a reasonable everyday wine. Not in the same league as BA have in First. Not by a long stretch. I always took wine with EL AL, and plenty of it. All I was saying was that I could get excellent beer and top liqueurs on BA and it made up for not having wine, as the EL AL stuff was not that wonderful anyway.
