Question Tier Points on American changing from P to A

Hi all, sorry if this has been covered, I couldn't find a thread with my specific question.

I had a fully domestic trip on AA for a TP run where all legs were booked in First (P). I made a change with an agent over the phone to all flights and the new fares have been ticketed in First (A).

Are there any implications to this from a Tier Point earning perspective? It seems this is the Discounted / YUP fare bucket.

I'm a little annoyed as if I get a quote for this exact route on aa.com it still tickets in P, which I know gets the full tier points, and in P the fare is actually slightly cheaper than the one I had originally booked. They actually charged me slightly more for the fare difference with the A booking.
