I’m flying Delta One to LHR departing from EWR Terminal B in early September. I just noticed that the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse (B2) is not in the same gate area as Delta (B1) where the flight seems to be currently assigned. I looked at the terminal map and there doesn’t seem to be any airside connection between the gate areas. Seems like I’ll have to go through security twice but will security at B2 even let me through if my flight is departing from B1? I have several hours to kill and would immensely prefer to spend my time in the Clubhouse vs. the Delta Sky Club. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's had this issue.

Any suggestions?
