I'm going to the City for 5 nights over Thanksgiving weekend. I was planning on driving down from Vermont as far as the Peekskill station and taking the train from there.

My question is this: what is the parking situation at the train station? The MTA website implies that parking is controlled by the village and that holidays and weekends is free.

Is anyone familiar with the Peekskill station?
