The King Solomon is an excellent example of "don't judge a book by its cover."

I don't know much about the Prima Royale
The KS is a dump and the fod most people I know who tried to eat it was very sorry they did. Stayed here 1 time myself and that was 1 time way too many. True they have some rooms that comes with a porch and a few with great views of the old city, however they charge up the goozo for those rooms and for a few bucks more Id rather stay elsewhere.

Kings stayed there once as well same as the KS although better food. Rooms are extremely small especially those facing The Plaza(King George) besides its 1/2 a floor higher then the other section so you will need to schelp your bags up some stairs

I believe the Dan Boutique is the closest to Talpiot the others a very far walk. But the others are closer to Rehavia or in it.

Prima Royale is the old Montifore a 3* at best probably closer to being a 2*

Panorama also very small rooms family stayed there once and never went back

In Israel theres no question you get what you paid for and in Jerusalem once you cross off any 5*s you're heading for trouble. That said if 5*s are out then Id simply go whichever is the cheapest and affords me the location closest to where I want to be by.

If I had to chose it would be between the KS & Kings due to both being Glatt. If that doesnt enter the equation go with price, especially if you wont be spending much time in the room or hotel

I find www.directrooms.com or www.cheaptickts.com (with their % off promo code) to have the best rates. Need to check both since 1 maybe more expensive then the other for Hotel A but much cheaper for Hotel B, * Becareful some rates are non-refundable and some dont include breakfast is room only
