"Fine Dining" on BA

Has anybody else noticed this trend towards a "fine dining" experience on BA? I mean lots of those tiny tapas style bites on a plate?

I find the whole catering experience, while undoubtedly well intended, pretty miserably executed: The surface to volume ratio of these things is skewed in a way that in the dry air of a plane makes them, well dry. Not very enjoyable.

Oh, and to come back to an old thread: The scones on my recent CW flight were A scone. Silly me to assume that "a selection of lemon and plain scones" pick one kind. Apparently only loaded one per pax.
