Yep, that's true I guess.
I do have memories - but dating back many years now - of Gulf Air carving from a joint at your seat (albeit in F only of course) and there is lots of archive film which shows this as standard procedure in the so-called golden age of travel.
Do ANY carriers offer this level of individuality today ?? What precisely does the 'book-the-cook' service provide, as promoted by some airlines ....?
