Yes the subject gets discussed to death on a regular basis here. Apart from the odd account of being refused the short checking of bags there doesn't seem to be any other proof of BA being in the slightest bit interested by the it.
This ex EU dodge has been going on for over 20 years so it's hardly something new. BA would just look silly if they tried to make an example of some unfortunate miscreant.
