hockeystl,
may I suggest the Cinderellas Royal Table character breakfast in the Magic Kingdom Castle for your daughter?
Its a great experience for someone of her age group....all of the Disney Princesses (Belle, Snow White, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, etc.) come visiting the tables to meet and greet, and pose for pictures or sign autographs. The food is from a menu, not buffet, but I recall them being rather generous if anyone wanted seconds or additional choices.
After the meal, we were brought downstairs to a "private" meeting with Cinderella and her Fairy Godmother, and the kids loved speaking with her and posing for pictures without any of the normal Disney crowds and pushiness.
In order to secure your reservation, however, you need to be very diligent. Call 1-407-WDW-DINE to double-check me on the exact time frame, but as I recall you need to call exactly 60 days before your desired dining date. I remember calling at 7am. The reservations are all gone within 10-15 minutes. If you are unsure which day of your trip you will be at the Magic Kingdom, you might want to do as I did and make breakfast reservations for two or three days, and then cancel as your plans become clearer (they are happy to have cancellations as that breakfast always has a long waiting list).
The cost was normal for Disney and it was a really fun experience for all of us to say we had eaten in the Castle.
By the way, the crab restaurant Viajera refers to is the Fulton Crab House...my husband enjoys the food there also.
