According to the United Fleet Site all 747 ( https://sites.google.com/site/unitedfleetsite/mainline-fleet-tracking ) now have power and Wifi and Streaming Video. I had 4 flights on United 747s (on 5 planes as we had a plane change and none of them was on time) this year so far and streaming video did work for me on every flight when I was awake. I purchased Wifi Internet on all of them and it was ok for browsing and mail when it worked. On two flights there however was multiple hour disconnect in the middle of the flight. This was FRA <-> SFO, so flight path should be similar to your route.
