Although, curious, do they re-ticket or something when upgrading? Is there some sort of exchange rate that affects taxes paid or something?
Reason I ask is this.
Partner and I flying CPH-ATH together.
When purchased, (in March) only 1 upgrade available. Took the 1. Found out about waitlist and listed. Just last week, got a call confirming the second upgrade, however, it required a payment of 27 Eurocents.
What is this 27¢? The fact that it was only required on one, which was performed later. Is this possibly some flux in DKK-EUR rate, and since they seem to re-ticket, it causes a reassessment of tax?
