Going into my second year as Hertz Presidents Club... and I am constantly disappointed with Hertz customer service. I think I'm done. No particular 'incident' just consistent disappointment.
Does anyone have recommendations for another rental agency who is customer focused?
Here's a wish list:
- A web site that is useful (Hertz is barely functional)
- A mobile app that works (Hertz iPhone app is again... barely functional)
- Priority phone line for elite members
- On-Shore customer service (US preferred)
- The ability of customer service to look up my reservation by my phone number
On that last point, Hertz representatives are constantly paralyzed with indecision and fear when I tell them that I don't know my rental agreement number... but, like, it's out in the car and I don't feel like putting on shoes and getting in the elevator. I know that may seem like I'm lazy, but honestly, we BOTH know my phone number.
Oh, and being PC has not really given much of anything in the way of upgrades and the Hertz fuel options suck.
