Missed this earlier - I've used AM for a LAN redemption in biz a couple of years ago..availability matched what BA showed, though the first agent wasn't sure if LAN Peru was a member and initially insisted that since it was a codeshare with LA, it couldn't be booked as an award..a bit of persistent patience & I had my tickets.
