Yes, I did look at seatguru.com before leaving. It listed seat 22A in the "be aware" catergory. It was not listed as a "bad seat". I am 5' 10" and I don't have long legs. It also said that it is possible to angle your legs for good legroom. No way. The seat is too narrow to do this and as I said earlier, the real issue is the magazine/plane info pocket which is right against your shoulder.
