Your Best/Worst Hawai'i-Mainland Flight Experience

My best Hawai'i-Mainland flight experience came on a HNL-LAX Hawaiian Airlines flights we took last year where we received an opp. upgrade to F. We didn't get a chance to ride on their 763s but we did get F on a DC-10 which was good enough as it is.

In-Flight service was just wondering. No PTVs or FlightMap, but the ride was pleasant and enjoyable; food was above par. Yet, what made this ride enjoyable was the Aloha spirit with which the FA conducted his service in F. I haven't ever seen a FA walk up and down the aisles so many times prior to this guy -- he really knew how to take care of passengers and treat us like 'ohana (family).

I'm curious to know on this Christmas Eve what your most memorable Hawai'i-Mainland flight experience was. How was the service, the food, the ride...

And, on the same topic... what was your worst Hawai'i-Mainland flight experience? I take it there are very few of these, but service disruptions, horrible in-flight staffing could all factor in.

Thank you for taking the time out to share your experiences.

As always, Aloha and Mele Kalikimaka!
