Actually RS have some really talented writers. Matt Taibbi for one.
Of course, it's easy for "insiders" to be dismissive of the article -- i too find it amusingly over-romaniticized -- but again RS has to speak to a broader audience .... and to them, flying longhaul F is pretty ritzy, dreamy stuff
