It is horrible hotel. I would not recommend you stay there. Because there are tons of roaches in the hotel rooms, they open the windows/entrance door 24/7. You will NOT be able to see any lava flows from the hotel room. It is impossible. You will have to drive down the Crater Road and see for yourself.

WARNING: if you walk real close to lava flow, you will probably get sick because of sulfur from the lava flow. It depends on each person's health. If you're sensitive to sulfur, you may want to bring mask with you to protect yourself. It can harm to your lungs, heart, and health.
