Very nice Lobby and big pool area, not crowded at all as many of the guests are Japanese most of whom did not take to lying around the pool.

Rooms are for sure run down but we did not care as it was a cheap ($73) room in Waikiki with good location to Waikiki and the rest of Honolulu. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. After speaking with some guests, I am led to believe the higher the room, the higher the quality so FYI.

Extremely helpful bellmen.

There are two restaurants located on site: The Casada restaurant features
Pacific Rim cuisine and the Shizu offers authentic Japanese cuisine. The menu at Casada looked quite good, we did not see the menu for Shizu.

TO NOTE If you are nearby the Royal Garden Hotel, on Wed and Thurs nights they offer $2.50 martinis. Bar area is plush.
