Just curious if anyone had ever applied for 2 separate accounts. I am in Canada and my current platinum card AF is due in about a month, amex has just started limiting bonuses as of July 1st. I had a referral that does not have anything in the T&C that states 1 bonus per person so went ahead and applied for another platinum card. I have been conditionally approved, so if I receive the card, I can cancel my other one before AF and get sign-up and referral bonus on new card. I figured it was worth a try.
