I think so. If you lived in DFW and flew AA you would have had your picking of a ton of Asia MR's earlier in the year, same if you lived in CHI and flew out of ORD.

It is definitely harder in a hub city like a PHX for AA or SLC for DL which are less of a major international gateway and more of a domestic hub i'll give you that.
