There are lots of threads about this.
In summary, it can be less risky to do a back-to-back than to leave a slightly bigger gap between flights, because if the outbound LHR-DUB flight of a back-to-back is delayed, then your DUB-LHR flight will also be delayed. So either do a back-to-back or leave a very long (eg overnight) gap.
If you're choosing DUB as the starting point, make sure that you understand what you need to do when you get there. Although DUB is a favourite, there are easier places to do a back-to-back.
