We walked by and checked out the Residence Inn (for a future visit) and thought it was wonderful, though there are rumors of inadequate or nonexistent air conditioning (important for those occasional warm days). I won't hesitate to stay here on our return visit.
The aircon position is appalling if you hit a warm or hot day. Otherwise a good location and a decent hotel.

If you're a plat (or maybe a gold) the Glasshouse is a good option. I was upgraded to a suite. Each suite is named after a particular single malt and the room comes with a free dram of the named scotch for two. Location is great and the roof garden is a nice place to enjoy your free glass.

The airport location is a friendly place with tired rooms and an acceptable lounge. Leisure facilities are good, but you need a taxi to get into town (or take the bus).

If you're happy with a taxi and want free parking then you could also consider the Dalmahoy which is about 8 miles out of the town centre.
