OP, are you asserting that the term "Presidential Suite" has some sort of reserved meaning within the hhonors program? Very few properties have this class of room, and they don't all call it that - the properties call their rooms what they want in keeping with the theme, region, local culture, etc.

In some properties, certain rooms do convey benefits - one example which was being discussed recently was at the WA Palm Jumeirah, where certain classes of suites conveyed access to the lounge, access to which was otherwise restricted such that even Diamonds were not given privileges (this may be changing at this property).

If the room conveys benefits, they'll likely be mentioned in the room description. If the hotel is trying to command a premium rate, there's no point in keeping the benefits hidden.
