Why pray tell has it become impossible to update a passport number on an existing reservation? There is no option online.
Updating passport information in your profile will not update passport info for previously made reservations.
To change passport info for AA reservations made prior to updating your profile info:
- Log on to AA.com and bring up the reservation for which you wish to change your passport info.
- Scroll down to Passenger Summary and click Add/Edit Passenger Information link.
- When the Edit Passenger Details dialog opens, scroll down to the bottom to update your passport info and then click Submit.
