Another interesting bit of info about the IAH airport that, unfortunately, the general public can not see is that there is a time capsule buried under the floor of the employee cafeteria at ramp-level under the E-gates. It is due to be opened in 2053. It was placed by the employees of Continental Airlines when, I believe, the E-concourse was being constructed. There is a plaque in the floor of the employee cafeteria which marks the spot. I think it has airline-related items from 2003 to show the future airline employees what airline life was like then.
