Even though QF's meal offerings are tasty and fancy, the quantity is dismal. Its absolute rubbish to say that this is a "supper" service and that people should "enjoy" lounge meals prior to departure. Its no fun to board the plane hungry and then get a small meal on board. There are other trans Pacific options and they deliver with adequate meals and proper flat beds (that don't droop). Yes, the 380 is quiet, but when you are left waiting for more food (that doesn't turn up), and struggle with banana shaped (not) flat beds, then its hello UA or AC (and others).
