Having taken my disabled father with a rollator and wheelchair on BA, I can report that it was allowed on the outward journey to TPA but not allowed on the return, despite my protestations. It was not damaged on the journey, but the wheelchair in the hold was completely smashed. BA did pay for a new wheelchair.
