There is a good basis for that. The inter-terminal train is the only WEDway (Walter Elias Disney) people mover built by the Walt Disney Company outside of a Disney property.

It uses much of the mechanical technology of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover. The WEDway was the first train to use electric linear induction motor (LIM) technology.
