Do most airports have flights landing 24 hours a day?
While there may be some hours when there are few landings and take offs, the airport is still operating. Some smaller airports don't have 24 hour ATC, but aircraft can still take off and land. At least in the US, there are a number of commercial flights to airports which lack ATC towers.
