Select exit row / preferred seats with no status?
I have no status and on some trips I am able to select the exit row seats that are designated as preferred seats in blue. On some trips I am not. The fares where I have been able to do this are Q and S, while a V fare does not give the option for these seats. Do Q and S fares qualify for these?

Also note I have enough segments booked for future travel to reach FO status, not sure if this matters
