I think I've narrowed it down to the Mauna Lani, the Mauna Kea, and the Hapuna Prince. I read the Trip Advisor reviews and was a bit concerned about the Prince Resorts due to the field mice and cockroach stories, but I guess those could be exaggerated. The Mauna Lani is a bit more expensive. In looking at the map, are the Prince resorts a lot more secluded than the others? The concerns are whether we would be able to fit a day trip to the volcanoes, and whether there would be enough places to eat without being stranded on the resort.
