Yes, they closed and reopened my accor account for my latest renewal, but within a few days all the points were moved over too. I have a new account number but the operation was seamless.

I have never had a problem using my free night, but in the past few years, it's necessary to book ahead to get a higher end hotel. For cheaper hotels, it's almost anyday availability.

I really use the dining discounts a lot. 50% off of food saves me a ton of dough over the year.

I do miss the Asia accor advantage plus hotel booking site. Being forced to use the UK booking engine is a real DISadvantage.
