I recently opened 2 citigold accounts for my wife and I. I used new Citi AA Executive cards to fund both of the ($10k and $18.5k). No CA fee. Nice easy way to do the min spend on them and get a ton of miles on top of the current 75k mile bonus.

I can't be sure but I bet other Citi cards don't charge a CA fee either.
