If I was a SCH and had two people without lounge access I wouldn't bother going to the lounge since like the OP I know the rules and know I wasn't allowed two guests.

Rather than touting outside the lounge entrance for someone to guest one in it seems a sensible and less humiliating apporach would be just to go to a bar or restaurant instead.
