If your credit card company asks if you've tried to resolve the issue let them know you have not gotten nowhere with AC.
They will open a dispute and contact the correct dept.
I could see this working if the entire original charge was on the CC, but can you really dispute the fact that a different original form of payment wasn't refunded to the CC? $xxx was charged to the CC and $xxx was refunded. What right does the CC company have to demand refund of anything else?
