I'll never forget this one flight from DFW-LGA in the evening a year or two ago. FA starts asking people what they would like to drink (so basically open bar PDB you would think) and the person in front of me asked for something with alcohol (can't remember if it was a mixed drink, beer or wine). She flat out says no she's not doing alcohol on the ground. The guy across the aisle calls her out on it very bluntly and says something like "That's not right....and not company policy". The she comes to me and I ask for white wine just to see her reaction and she rolls hers eyes and moves on to the next person. I bet she's going to love the reinforced policy coming down from Hector lol.
