Well the 777 AUS-LHR 'upgrade' doesn't seem to have lasted long - apparently Austin is switching back to the 787 on February 22nd, 2016 according to the latest schedule change -

The good news however is that it will be one of the brand new 787-9 series (

I'm travelling AUS-LHR-AUS in September when they will be testing the new 787-9 prior to deployment to DEL and I'm hoping it's improvement over the 787-8. I wonder if the 787-9 will stay around for a while, I think it's a step up over the 777-200.
