Oddly I've had SPG Gold for several years now and I just don't see the real benefit - yes the points have some good redempptions, but the Gold status has always felt rather Meh. Initially it was an Amex Plat benefit, but I've cancelled that card and maybe stay at SPG properties 2-3 times a year, just doesn't fit my travel. Maybe I need to stay there more?

And I would assume most of you SE already have Gold on your own!
