The OP's title asks one question, but then asks what hotels get reimbursed for award stays in his/her post.

What franchised hotels "pay" Hilton for points for revenue stays is about 5% of the folio charges.

Like a subsequent poster said, reimbursement rates for award stays fluctuate greatly, based on occupancy, average rates, etc.
