I was able to get it. Thanks.

They have done quite a beautiful job. One traffic lane has been taken out of Kalakaua, but the new pedestrian walkway is gorgeous.

The nicest stretch is the point after the Moana Surfrider where there aren't any hotels on the beach. There are benches and tables, as well as nice paths & landscaping for people to wander around.

I think they got it right.
