You probably have to combine cards and make it one way trips.
Does your significant other plan to apply too?
Do you feel comfortable to apply for a business card?

75k AA for the executive card ($450 fee not waived) + 50k for the platinum = 125k
Or wait for a good targeted Amex offer and transfer the miles to an Airline
Or United + Chase Sapphire Preferred ....
So many options depends on your ability to generate spend your credit score and history ( which cards did you have before)
Btw forget about Delta they just announced another devaluation
