Anyone remember the days when the Sky Club in Seattle was forced by WA state liquor laws to serve full meals? It was a while ago, back before the new location opened - IIRC around the time when fake cheese was the norm.

For a few months, Delta worked around the requirement by bringing up a few Y-class meals from the onboard caterer and keeping them in the freezer - you could ask the staff to microwave the meal for you. I took advantage of it before several redeyes - IIRC there was a pesto ravioli that reheated surprisingly well

Apparently they were able to talk some sense into the state, as things were back to normal in fairly short order. Not sure if that was a consequence of the improved food offerings, if they negotiated a license change, or if the liquor control board simply changed their minds...
