Long Beach and San Pedro are NOT the same port. (San Pedro is the port of Los Angeles.)

It's true that there is a common body of water in between them, but if you ever try to park in the lot for Long Beach when your cruise departs from San Pedro, or vice versa, you will seriously regret it! Several miles separate them.
