Hi,

I am EBG and will be travelling CPH-NRT/NRT-CPH (Business class) later this month. My partner will also be flying NRT-CPH but on a different flight. Since I arrive at CPH approximately 2 hours before they do, I had thought to avail of the possibility of lounge access at CPH upon arrival (according to the SAS website this is possible if arriving on an intercontinental flight booked in Business or Plus) until they arrive at CPH.

However, my question is, what issues might arise regarding collection of my luggage? Is it possible/safe to go to the lounge and then not collect my bags until 2 hours later? Will they still be at the relevant baggage carousel or are they taken by the baggage handlers and placed elsewhere? Or can I arrange with SAS staff in the lounge to have my bag put aside for collection?

Does anyone have any experiences with this?
