I'm trying to figure out why airlines, lounges, etc. want these treated the same as regular cigarettes.

As a former smoker sitting anywhere near someone smoking just irritates the heck out of me. Can't stand it. But my wife can sit next to me in the car and puff on her e-cig and I'm completely unaware of it. So obviously they are not intrusive.

My wife sits in an airline lounge and holds her hand over her mouth so no one can see the e-cig and nobody in the lounge ever notices. Same on a plane.

So why the movement to ban them or treat them the same as regular cigarettes?
As a physician, I can tell you that many people are sensitive to chemical fumes.

I think the purpose of this forum is supposed to be to inform smokers and vapers where they can participate in those activities, with a specific intent that it NOT be a place where people argue about smoking regulations or the pros and cons of smoking/vaping.
